Player Safety & Account Security

Please keep your account secure! To keep your child's account secure, you should never let your child share their account with others. The player should never give out their password to anyone.

95% of all account 'hackings' are not true hackings. They occur because a child has given their password out to a 'friend,' who then takes advantage of that information. Children do this because the 'friend' has promised them in-game items or gold or Adventure Coins. We do not allow people to share, trade or give away accounts.

We have a warning EVERY time you login to our game that states:

"Staff will never ask you for your password. If someone asks you for your password, report them for Griefing. NEVER give out your password, no
matter what."

We require either the payment confirmation email information, or the account creation email information to be provided to us in order to verify account ownership and reset an account.

The only information that is safe to give to another player is the Character Name. Please remind your children to never give out any personal information about themselves to others on the internet!

Make sure to use a password that is a minimum of eight characters long, alpha numeric, and case sensitive. This means using numbers and letters, lowercase and uppercase. Do not choose a password like qwerty, Password, god, dog, mom, or one that matches your user name. This is a good password example AQworlds237.

It is best to not play on public computers. However, if you play on a public computer, please make sure to log out of the game completely when you are done. Close all the browsers on the computer that you were using as well. This will prevent others from logging into your account. Make sure that you do not check the 'save information' option when you log in on a public computer, so that no one but you can log into your account.

If you have not already done so, please read the Rules. Our first priority is to create a safe and friendly environment for our players. You can play responsibly by reading and abiding by the rules.

Parents, if you are still concerned about your child's safety, make sure that your child plays on the 'canned chat' Moglin servers, such as Twilly and Zorbak.

If another player is harassing your child, please do the two following things:

1. type /ignore player name to ignore the player
2. type /report player name to report the player

This can also be done by using the drop-down menu.

2. Click on the player's character portrait
3. Click on the options and select Report.
