My account has been locked or disabled! What do I do?

Accounts in AdventureQuest Worlds are locked for 1 of 4 types of reasons.

The first reason your account will be locked is because you entered the wrong password to login too many times. You can visit our Lost Password Page to recover your password.

The second reason your account will be locked is because it has been disabled for rule-breaking in-game.

The most common reasons that people are locked out of their accounts for rule-breaking in-game are:

  • Spamming chat
  • Profanity (evading our filters)
  • Verbal abuse
  • Hate Speech
  • Sexual Harassment
  • Griefing
  • Packet Spamming

Since we have staff members monitoring and manually banning players, bans cannot be appealed. Accounts will be locked for the full duration of the ban. Screenshot proof can be made available for any ban longer than 24 hours. A one, three or seven day ban may be placed on your account. Repeated offenders may have their accounts permanently disabled. Rule breaking also counts for any players whose emails are caught in control of other player accounts that are not theirs. We do not allow account sharing/trading, etc.

The third reason your account will be locked is due to a payment issue. This includes any kind of refunds/disputes/chargebacks/etc that have affected the payments made to the account. Whenever there is a payment issue, any associated game accounts are disabled as per our Refund Policy.

The fourth reason your account may be locked is if it looks compromised. We do everything we can to protect our players and if an account does look comrpomised, it will be locked until the actual owner contacts us.

If you feel your account has been banned in error and would like to make an appeal, please contact us with your Account Name and Email address.

Note: If your account has been locked for behavior, it tells you this when you try to login. If you email and ask us to remove that ban early, we will not do so, and may extend the ban.
